The host api.openrouteservice.org will be shut down on November 2, 2026. All API requests directed to api.openrouteservice.org will fail after this date. The shutdown was announced on April 28, 2026.
What to use instead of these calls
Call api.heigit.org with the same key. Update request paths by placing /v2/directions, /v2/isochrones, /v2/matrix, /v2/snap, and /v2/export under /openrouteservice/v2/, /geocode under /pelias/v1, /elevation under /openelevationservice/v0, /optimization under /vroom/v0, and /pois under /openpoiservice/v0/pois.
