POST /api/v4/teams/{}/import stops working
Stopped working
On October 1, 2026, the POST /api/v4/teams/{}/import endpoint was removed. Calls to this endpoint now fail. The built-in Slack import API and CLI are no longer available.
What to use instead of these calls
Convert the Slack export with the mmetl tool and import it with mmctl import, which uses POST /api/v4/imports and the import job API.

The built-in Slack import API and CLI have been removed. The POST /teams/{team_id}/import endpoint and the mattermost import slack command are no longer available. Use the mmetl tool with mmctl import instead.
