firebasedynamiclinks.googleapis.com stops working

Firebase Dynamic Links API

Stopped working

On August 25, 2025, Firebase Dynamic Links will shut down, and requests to firebasedynamiclinks.googleapis.com will fail. All links served by the service, whether on custom domains or page.link subdomains, will stop working after that date. Developers will also no longer be able to create new links.

What to use instead of these calls

Remove calls to the API and handle deep links using another service, such as App Links and Universal Links served from your own domain or Firebase Hosting. Because Google offers no replacement API, your team must choose an alternative service or build its own solution.

Google offers no replacement API: the team picks another deep-linking service or builds its own.
