The enable_tap_to_unmute player setting stops working
Stopped working
On September 28, 2026, the enable_tap_to_unmute player setting stops working across the Dailymotion API. Calls using body parameter enable_tap_to_unmute will fail with a 400 Bad Request error after that date. The parameter will no longer affect Player behavior.
What to use instead of these calls
Remove the setting entirely. To start the Player without sound, set playback.enable_mute through API v2 using PATCH /v2/players/{player_id}.

They no longer affect Player behavior and will return 400 Bad Request after sunset date (Sept. 28th 2026).
