13 API breaking changes coming in November 2026

A 2025 Radware survey found an average of 19 third-party APIs per application. The same survey reports that API usage rose 42% between 2023 and 2025. Payments, auth, AI models, CRM data and chat come from different vendors, and each vendor changes its API on its own schedule. Some of those changes break the calls your code makes. Your product then shows the failure.
Here is a selection of the breaking changes coming in November 2026. We checked each date on the vendor’s own page.

How to keep up
Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, AWS and Microsoft all retire models or endpoints this month. Your other vendors do it too. The next change may hit a call your code makes.
This list shows 13 of them. Our November calendar counts 115 changes that take effect this month, and it grows as vendors announce new ones.
