# The ExpenseClaims endpoint stops working

Calls to /api.xro/2.0/ExpenseClaims* on Xero API stop working on February 1, 2027.

On February 1, 2027, access to the deprecated /api.xro/2.0/ExpenseClaims* endpoint will be disabled as part of efforts to retire the Classic Expenses product. Requests made to this endpoint will fail after this date.

## What to use instead

Remove calls to /api.xro/2.0/ExpenseClaims*. Classic Expenses is being retired and there is no replacement in the Accounting API, as Xero Expenses provides no public API.
