# The Number Verification API stops working

Calls to /camara/number-verification/* on Vonage Network APIs stopped working on September 30, 2025.

On September 30, 2025, the Number Verification API will be removed. Calls to /camara/number-verification/* will fail after this date. Vonage announced the sunset on July 31, 2025.

## What to use instead

Use the Verify v2 API with the silent_auth channel by sending requests to POST api.nexmo.com/v2/verify.
