# order_by on GET /photos stops working

Calls to GET /photos, query parameter order_by on Unsplash API stopped working on September 19, 2024.

On September 19, 2024, Unsplash removed support for the query parameter order_by on GET /photos. Calls using this parameter fail after that date, as the feed will only return photos in the latest order.

## What to use instead

Drop order_by from your requests; the feed returns the latest photos.
