# The v1 Datastore API stops working

Calls to /api/v1/* on Transitland API stopped working on September 14, 2023.

On September 14, 2023, the v1 Datastore API was turned off. This breaking change affects all requests made to the /api/v1/* endpoints. Following this shutdown, any calls sent to these endpoints fail.

## What to use instead

Call the Transitland v2 REST API or its GraphQL endpoint with an API key instead.
