# PUT /v1/profiles is deprecated

Transferwise deprecated PUT /v1/profiles without giving a shutdown date yet.

Transferwise has deprecated the PUT /v1/profiles endpoint without a shutdown date. Calls made to this endpoint will eventually fail once it is fully removed.

## What to use instead

Update profiles using PUT /v2/profiles/{profileId}/personal-profile or PUT /v2/profiles/{profileId}/business-profile instead.
