# GET /v1/accounts/{} is deprecated

Transferwise deprecated GET /v1/accounts/{} without giving a shutdown date yet.

Transferwise has deprecated the GET /v1/accounts/{} endpoint without a shutdown date. Calls made to this endpoint will eventually fail as it is being phased out. Integrations relying on this legacy version should plan to transition their requests.

## What to use instead

Get the recipient account with GET /v2/accounts/{accountId} instead.
