# The legacy Metrics API stops working

Calls to /api/{id}/sites/{id}/metrics* on Tableau REST API stopped working on February 1, 2024.

## What to use instead

Use the Tableau Pulse methods for metrics.

Pulse metrics are a different feature (definitions, insights), not the legacy metrics renamed; moving means redefining them.
