# The Ask Data lens API stops working

Calls to /api/-/askdata/lenses* on Tableau REST API stopped working on February 1, 2024.

## What to use instead

Ask Data has no API replacement; the feature is gone.

- Calls it hits: `/api/-/askdata/lenses*`
