# GET /links/by-original-url is deprecated

Short.io API deprecated GET /links/by-original-url without giving a shutdown date yet.

Short.io has deprecated the GET /links/by-original-url endpoint without a shutdown date. Calls made to this route will eventually fail. The provider lists the route as deprecated for retrieving link info by original URL.

## What to use instead

Call GET /links/multiple-by-url with the same domain and originalURL query parameters instead. It returns every link associated with that original URL.
