# /v1/redis is deprecated

Render API deprecated /v1/redis* without giving a shutdown date yet.

Render has deprecated the /v1/redis* endpoints without announcing a shutdown date. Affected calls will eventually fail, as the provider has phased them out in favor of the Key Value API.

## What to use instead

Call the Key Value endpoints instead: /v1/key-value and /v1/key-value/{id} (connection-info, suspend, resume).
