# relationships on POST /v2/notes/search stops working

Calls to POST /v2/notes/search, body parameter data.relationships on Productboard API stopped working on April 14, 2026.

On April 14, 2026, the body parameter data.relationships on POST /v2/notes/search was removed. Calls that include this legacy flat property fail since that day. The change removed deprecated properties from the request body in favor of structured filter and return objects.

## What to use instead

Send the notes filters in the structured data.filter and data.return objects, such as data.filter.id, data.filter.fields.*, data.filter.metadata.*, data.filter.relationships.*, data.filter.createdAt, and data.filter.updatedAt.
