# Pinterest Ads API v4 stops working

Calls to /ads/v4/* on Pinterest API stopped working on July 1, 2023.

On July 1, 2023, Pinterest retired the Ads API v4 endpoints under /ads/v4/*. Following this change, all requests directed to these endpoints fail.

## What to use instead

Move calls to Pinterest API v5 under /v5/ad_accounts/*. Because v4 access tokens do not work on v5, users must authorize again.
