# POST /api/external/v2/ledger_attachments is deprecated

Pennylane API deprecated POST /api/external/v2/ledger_attachments without giving a shutdown date yet.

The provider has deprecated POST /api/external/v2/ledger_attachments without a shutdown date. Calls hitting this endpoint will eventually fail. The change affects all requests previously used to upload a file through this route.

## What to use instead

Use POST /api/external/v2/file_attachments instead. Note that moving to the replacement requires the file_attachments:all scope.
