# GET /api/public/traces stops working

Calls to GET /api/public/traces* on Langfuse API stop working on November 16, 2026.

On November 16, 2026, the provider will retire GET /api/public/traces*. Calls to these endpoints will fail after that date, as Langfuse Cloud serves them only until November 16, 2026.

## What to use instead

Call GET /api/public/v2/observations filtered by traceId (or traceName) and group the rows by traceId. Retrieve aggregates through GET /api/public/v2/metrics instead.
