# GET /api/public/metrics stops working

Calls to GET /api/public/metrics* on Langfuse API stop working on November 16, 2026.

On November 16, 2026, the Langfuse API will shut down GET /api/public/metrics*. Requests made to this endpoint after that day will fail. Langfuse Cloud continues to serve the endpoint until that date.

## What to use instead

Call GET /api/public/v2/metrics instead. Moving to this endpoint updates the traces view to become the observations view with trace-level dimensions.
