# /sse is deprecated

Intercom MCP deprecated /sse without giving a shutdown date yet.

Intercom MCP deprecated the /sse endpoint without a shutdown date. Calls made to /sse are marked as Legacy SSE and will fail. Developers using this endpoint must transition to the supported protocol.

## What to use instead

Connect to the /mcp endpoint on mcp.intercom.com over Streamable HTTP instead.
