# POST /iid/v1:batchRemove stops working

Calls to POST /iid/v1:batchRemove on iid.googleapis.com stop working on September 29, 2027.

On September 29, 2027, the endpoint POST /iid/v1:batchRemove will be decommissioned and stop working. Calls to this endpoint will fail after that date. The change follows the deprecation of all InstanceId server APIs and the device group feature.

## What to use instead

Use the FCM topic subscription API instead: DELETE /v1/projects/{project}/registrations/{registration}/topicSubscriptions/{topic} on fcm.googleapis.com, or a Firebase Admin SDK release that calls it.
