# POST /iid/v1:batchAdd stops working

Calls to POST /iid/v1:batchAdd on iid.googleapis.com stop working on September 29, 2027.

On September 29, 2027, POST /iid/v1:batchAdd will be decommissioned. Calls made to this endpoint after that day will fail. The change applies to all requests to POST /iid/v1:batchAdd.

## What to use instead

Use the FCM topic subscription API instead by calling POST /v1/projects/{project}/registrations/{registration}/topicSubscriptions on fcm.googleapis.com, or upgrade to a Firebase Admin SDK release that calls it.
