# POST /v1/forms changes: new forms are created unpublished

Calls to POST /v1/forms on Google Forms API stopped working on June 30, 2026.

Starting June 30, 2026, requests to POST /v1/forms will create new forms in an unpublished state by default. Because these forms will be unpublished, calls expecting them to collect submissions will fail since the forms will not receive responses. The change modifies the default behavior of the form creation endpoint.
