# depreciation_schedule on /v2/bills is deprecated

FreeAgent API deprecated /v2/bills*, body parameter depreciation_schedule without giving a shutdown date yet.

FreeAgent deprecated the body parameter depreciation_schedule for /v2/bills* endpoints without announcing a shutdown date. The deprecation applies to expense and bill/bill item requests and responses. Once removed, requests using this parameter will fail.

## What to use instead

Describe the depreciation in capital_asset.depreciation_profile (method, asset_life_years or annual_depreciation_percentage, frequency) instead of depreciation_schedule.
