# /eurostat/wdds/* stops working

Calls to /eurostat/wdds/* on European Commission APIs stopped working on January 1, 2023.

On January 1, 2023, the European Commission removed /eurostat/wdds/*. All requests targeting endpoints under /eurostat/wdds/* fail after that day. The provider noted that the services stopped in January 2023 as part of a replacement with a new dissemination API.

## What to use instead

Call the Statistics API (JSON-stat 2.0) using GET /eurostat/api/dissemination/statistics/1.0/data/{datasetCode} instead.
