# API v1 stops working

Calls to /v1/* on Cal.com API stopped working on April 8, 2026.

On April 8, 2026, API v1 will be shut down and all /v1/* endpoints will fail. The provider is removing these endpoints entirely, meaning requests sent to them will no longer work after that date.

## What to use instead

Direct calls to the v2 API instead, passing the API key in an Authorization Bearer header along with a cal-api-version header, and follow the endpoint-by-endpoint migration guide.

- API: Cal.com API (api.cal.com)
- Kind: Version retirement
- Takes effect: April 8, 2026
- Calls after that day: fail
- Calls it hits: `/v1/*`
- Source: [Announcement](https://cal.com/docs/enterprise-features/api/versioning)
- Verified: October 26, 2026, against Cal.com API's own pages
