# API V1 (/api) stops working

Calls to /api on Arbiscan API stopped working on August 15, 2025.

On August 15, 2025, API V1 will be fully deprecated. Calls to the /api endpoint will stop working and fail after that day. The change affects all callers sending requests to this endpoint.

## What to use instead

Call api.etherscan.io/v2/api with the same module, action, and other query parameters, and include chainid for the chain. An Etherscan API key covers every supported chain.
