# /v1/payments/sale is deprecated

api-m.sandbox.paypal.com deprecated /v1/payments/sale/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

The /v1/payments/sale/* endpoints have been deprecated without a shutdown date. Calls made to these endpoints will eventually fail. The provider notes in its deprecation notice that the entire /v1/payments endpoint is deprecated.

## What to use instead

Show captures and refund them with Payments v2 using GET /v2/payments/captures/{id} and POST /v2/payments/captures/{id}/refund.
