# GET /v2/translate stops working

Calls to GET /v2/translate on api-free.deepl.com stopped working on March 14, 2025.

On March 14, 2025, GET /v2/translate stops working. The provider will no longer accept GET requests or query parameters on this endpoint, accepting only POST requests with data in the request body. Calls made using GET /v2/translate after that day will fail.

## What to use instead

Send POST /v2/translate with the text and target_lang in the request body and the key in an Authorization: DeepL-Auth-Key header.
