# title

Shotstack API deprecated the model title without giving a shutdown date yet.

Shotstack has deprecated TitleAsset without a shutdown date. Calls referencing the model title will fail. The change removes support for this asset type across the API.

## What to use instead

Use RichTextAsset instead.

- API: Shotstack API (api.shotstack.io)
- Model: title
- Kind: Model retirement
- Takes effect: no date given yet
- Calls after that day: fail
- Calls it hits: `model title`
- Source: [Changelog](https://shotstack.io/docs/api/)
- Verified: October 27, 2026, against Shotstack API's own pages
- Page: https://www.okapi.bot/models/shotstack-api/title/
