DigitalOcean API deprecated the model GPT Image 1 without giving a shutdown date yet.

DigitalOcean deprecated model GPT Image 1 on October 26, 2026, without a shutdown date. The provider also marked o1 and o3-mini as deprecated at the same time. Calls targeting model GPT Image 1 will eventually fail once the model is retired.

## What to use instead

Migrate GPT Image 1 calls to GPT Image 2 ( openai-gpt-image-2 ) to avoid service disruption. If you also use o1 or o3-mini, migrate those models to GPT-5.6 Sol ( openai-gpt-5.6-sol ).
